Brand identity · Kabul

Logo design Kabul: one mark that works on a sign, a phone and a receipt.

In Kabul several businesses on the same street can offer the same thing, so people recognise a shop by its mark before they read the name. We draw that mark for the places it will actually live: a painted sign, a WhatsApp avatar, a stamp and a printed bill.

  1. Three scripts, drawn separately

Dari, Pashto and Latin are not the same shapes stretched to fit one box. Each gets its own spacing and letter drawing, and the set is arranged so you can put one language on a sign and two on a card without the mark breaking.

  2. Checked from across the street

We look at the mark at sign distance, at the size of a profile picture and on a cheap screen. Details that vanish in sunlight or in a single-colour print are removed rather than kept for the computer screen.

  3. Handed over ready for the printer

You get vector and image files, a version for the sign painter and one for the profile picture, in the colours agreed. Ownership of the final artwork passes to you; the number of revision rounds is written in the quote before work starts.

Can you work from a sketch or an old sign?

A photo of your current sign, a drawing on paper or a name written by hand is enough to start. We redraw the idea properly and keep whatever still works.

What do you need from me before the call?

Your business name in the languages you use, the kind of customers you want and where the mark will appear. A short call is enough to agree the scope and a fixed quote.
