Mobile-first identity · Kandahar
Logo design Kandahar: drawn for the screen people actually use.
Here a customer usually meets a business through a phone: a profile picture, a forwarded contact or a photo of the shopfront. The mark is therefore designed at thumb size first and then adapted for the sign. If it fails on the screen, a large version will not rescue it.
Pashto first, with Dari and Latin beside it
Most local customers read Pashto, so that lockup leads and is drawn with its own letter shapes. Dari and Latin versions are made for suppliers, official papers and visitors, sharing the same weight so the family stays recognisable.
Built for a small circle
Profile pictures crop a mark into a circle and shrink it further in a chat list. We test that crop early and keep the shape centred and simple, so it is still identifiable when the name is not visible.
Light files for a weak connection
Artwork is exported at sensible sizes instead of one heavy file that stalls on a slow network. You get versions for a profile, a message, a printed sign and a stamp, each small enough to send.

Will the mark still look right as a WhatsApp photo?
We design and check a circular crop before the final files are made, so the profile picture is a planned version rather than an accident. A simple shape survives the small size better than a detailed drawing.
Do you design the Pashto letters yourselves?
Yes, the Pashto lockup is drawn as its own lettering, not typed and left as it comes. We check the connections and spacing with a Pashto speaker before handover.
