Logo and brand basics · Kabul

Logo design Kabul: a mark that holds up on a shop sign and a phone.

A logo here has to survive four places: a painted shop sign, a phone screen the size of a thumb, a WhatsApp profile circle and a printed receipt. We design marks and a small brand set for Kabul businesses with that in mind, and we draw the Dari and Pashto versions as carefully as the Latin one.

  1. Latin, Dari and Pashto drawn as one family

We do not stretch one wordmark to fit three scripts. Each language gets its own lockup with spacing and letter shapes that suit it, and the set is arranged so you can use one language alone or two together without the mark falling apart.

  2. Made to be seen small and from far away

A mark is tested at shop-sign distance, at the size of a WhatsApp avatar and at the width of a phone screen. That usually means fewer details, stronger contrast and a shape that still reads when it is printed in one colour.

  3. Colour and type chosen for real printing

We pick a small palette that holds up on vinyl, paint, cheap paper and a screen, and we avoid effects that disappear in daylight or on a low-cost printer. Fonts are chosen with their licence checked, so your sign maker and printer can use them without a surprise later.

  4. Handover with files you control

You receive the final mark as vector and image files, plus versions for print, web and a profile picture, and ownership of those final files is yours. Revision rounds are agreed in the quote before work starts, so nobody is guessing halfway through.

What you get

  • Primary mark and stacked lockups
  • Latin, Dari and Pashto versions
  • Colour palette and font selection
  • Print, web and profile-picture files
  • Ownership of the final artwork
Do I get a logo only, or a full brand identity?

This page covers a logo and the basics around it: lockups, colours, fonts and the files you need to use them. A deeper identity system, packaging or a full set of templates is scoped separately in the same quote conversation.

Will the logo work in Dari and Pashto as well as English?

Yes. Dari and Pashto are drawn as their own lockups, not squeezed into the Latin shape, and you can use any one of the three alone. We check the mark in each script before the final files are prepared.

What files do I receive and who owns them?

You get vector files for print and signage, image files for web and social, and a version sized for a WhatsApp profile picture. Once the work is finished and paid, the final files are yours to use and hand to any printer.

How many revisions are included, and how do we start?

The number of revision rounds is written into the quote before we begin, so it is clear rather than assumed. Send a WhatsApp message with a line about your business; we reply within one working day and, after a short call, send a fixed quote.
