How much does a website cost in Afghanistan?

There is no single price, because “a website” can mean a five-page business card or a full ordering system. Here is what moves the cost, so you can ask for the right quote.

  1. What the site has to do

A site that only informs costs far less than one that takes orders, bookings or payments. Decide the one action you want a visitor to take first.

  2. How many languages

Dari, Pashto and English each need proper writing and right-to-left layouts where they apply. Doing this well takes work, which is why it is worth planning from the start.

  3. Hosting, domain and updates

The domain, hosting and ongoing updates are separate from the build. Ask who owns them: you should own the domain, the content and the code.

  4. Ask for a fixed quote

A good studio gives a clear scope and a fixed quote after a short call, so the price does not drift halfway through the project.

Describe what you want the site to do, in which languages, and ask for a fixed quote with a timeline.
